Still smelly after all these years

I have just had the BEST WEEK EVER! My work rules, Ireland rules, my friends rule....

Let's start at the very beginning. If it's good enough for Julie Andrews, it'll do the trick for me. There we go: University College Cork wants to start using role play as a methodology in the communication skills teaching. So the Interactive Studies Unit was invited to Cork in order to train assessors, train new role players and to screen Irish medical and nursing students. And YES!!! I was invited to come along for training and role playing! We had a week of working hard and playing hard. The people were fantabulous, the food was great and Cork has made it in my favorite cities top 10. This picture shows Jackie, Connie and myself having serious academic discussions in a pub.

Anyhoo, after a week of weird and wonderful work in Cork, I made my way up to Dublin for some craic with old friends O'Connor and McCarthy.

Yankee Pat, looking exactly the same as six years ago when we were roommates in Copenhagen and Sarah at the donkey sanctuary close to Sligo (where Sarah is from).

Willie, Ruth, Patter and Sarah walking up to the metholithic tombs and the view from the top of the mountain.

Sligo beach and Sarah & her very entertaining brother Kane having Sunday dinner in the O'Connor kitchen.

Comments:
You think you can come to my place, leave behind your dirty smelly towels, and then write nothing about that magical trip on your site? You think you can get away with that? No pictures, no stories, just pretend it never happened? Pretend you didn't have the time of your life, that you didn't feel reborn afterwards? Are you pretending to have a social life there in Birmingham? Better things to do than hang around the interweb all day? You are so mistaken you don't know how mistaken you are, that's how mistaken you are!

Updates please?

thank you.

I repent!
