Nice
It's been a while, but we visited Stefan and Marianne in Nice. We did a lot of driving: to cute mountain towns, to Monaco/Monte Carlo, to Ventemiglia in Italy, to Foundation Maeght, to St. Paul de Vence. We enjoyed the good food, bought as many bags of lavender as humanly possible in three days, smelled the most delicious soaps and perfumes and stocked up on Herbes de Provence. Post-Nice cooking in Birmingham: pasta with Herbes de Provence, Indian take away with Herbes de Provence, sunday roast dinner with Herbes de Provence, cup of tea with Herbes de Provence..
Dave by the beach, right before we played jeux de boules with rocks and Stefan dropped the bottle of wine over his crotch.
